Cousin Melody's birthday

Went to my little cousin Melody's birthday party today. Everything went pretty well. The food was good. They had these wraps that were amazing, to me anyway. I'm easily pleased though. I think some were roast beef and the others were chicken salad. plus there were finger foods like baby carrots, cherry tomatoes and the like.

There was quite alot of kids there, mainly teenage ones, like Melody, who is turning 14 tomorrow. Most of them went home after awhile though. The presents were unwrapped and cake was eaten. I talked with this one guy named Benny who I met at another party for my aunt Jane's mom.

I was just looking around at the party and feeling like, for the first time in awhile, like I was wanted there. It was a feeling I hadn't had in a long time. It was quite nice!
